Students are currently being placed in the following BSRHS sites:

St. Mary’s Hospital
5801 Bremo Road, Richmond. VA

391-bed hospital in the Willow Lawn area of Richmond, serving Central VA for over 30 years. St. Mary’s has stood in the forefront of the healthcare community by continuously implementing the latest and most beneficial medical technologies. It is the Bariatric Center of Excellence, a primary stroke center, voted a top place for having a baby. Three full-time chaplains and one weekend chaplain.
St. Francis Medical Center
13710 St. Francis Boulevard, Midlothian, VA
A 130-bed hospital in western Chesterfield County, opened its doors in 2005 and is a state of the art facility with a full spectrum of services. Includes of types of surgery, women’s services, neonatology, emergency care, oncology, and cardiology. 1.5 full time chaplains and one weekend chaplain.
Memorial Regional Medical Center
8260 Atlee Road, Mechanicsville, VA
A 225-bed acute care hospital with a design of family centered care. It is the first full-service acute care facility for Hanover County. One of the “Top 100 hospitals” for stroke care, Healthgrades 2007 distinguished hospital award for clinical excellence, Cardiac rehab program received national recognition. Has two full-time chaplains.
Richmond Community Hospital
1500 North 29th Street, Richmond, VA 23223

A 104-bed East End hospital offers comprehensive medical services and provides immediate, high-quality care to all patients suffering medical emergencies. It has an orientation to the community with an Adopt-a-School Program, the Explorers Program, Healthy Communities Project, and blood drives. Has one part-time chaplain.

Bon Secours Retirement Community at Ironbridge
26701 Ironbridge Parkway, Chester, VA
Established in 1997 and located in Chester, VA for 75 residents offers residential assisted living, an enhanced care program for residents with Alzheimer’s and short-term respite care. Has one part-time chaplain.

Providence Hospital, Ascension Health 1150 Varnum Street, NW, Washington DC 20017

Full CPE units being offered Fall 2008, Spring 2009, Fall 2009, Spring 2010
Begun in 1861 when Abraham Lincoln was president by the Daughters of Charity. Is now a 450- bed hospital in metro DC. "Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we serve all persons with joy, care, and respect, giving special attention to persons who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health ministry improves the health of individuals and our community with compassion and justice."
The Providence Health System provides a comprehensive continuum of quality services for our Washington metro and suburban Maryland neighbors. Providence Hospital and Carroll Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center are at the core of the Providence Health System.
